Circular No. 04_2018_TT-BTTTT

From July 01, 2018, the new regulation (Circular 04/2018/TT-BTTTT) – Regulations on list of products subjected to MIC Type Approval and Declaration of Conformity has become effective. Please see some highlighted features as below:
- Several new local standards (QCVN 88:2015/BTTTT and QCVN 112:2017/BTTTT) will enter in effect together with the new circular.
- Type Approval Certificate (TAC) will only list out RF functions.
- RF EMC and EMC standards will be exempted from Type Approval Certification but still be required for Declaration of Conformity.
- Total cost and lead time to obtain Type Approval Certificate can be reduced andshortened due to fewer requirements.
